Welcome to Chemistry! My name is Katherine Keefe and I'm originally from Southbury, Connecticut and moved to Ellsworth in 2012. I graduated from Hartwick College in 2007 with my Bachelors in Geology. After graduation I worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club as a guide, naturalist and outdoor educator until 2010 when I began my Masters in Education at the University of Bridgeport. I was fortunate to intern and student teach at Brookfield High School which was one of the first schools in Connecticut to use i-pads
in the classroom. As a result I use them regularly in the science classroom because
they are an essential tool to get the most out of the science classroom.
I advise the Outing Club. If you are interested please let me know.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, backpacking, white water canoeing, paddle boarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, photography and relaxing with a good book.
